Gaborone – Maputo bus

Botswana based bus operator AT&T Monnakgotla Travel & Tours in collaboration with Etrago coaches from Mozambique are proud to announce a new route. The partnership is a boost for tourism, commerce, cross border traders, etc.

It’s a direct bus service with an estimated travel time of around 15 hours. Covering a distance of about 887 kilometres. The bus transit through South Africa passing through the main cities of Pretoria, Mbombela, etc.

SCHEDULE

Friday: Departure from Maputo at 19:00.

Sundays: Departure from Gaborone at 19:00.

Ticket sales, Departure & Arrival points:

In Gaborone: 182 Queens roads, main mall Gaborone, Bostwana.

In Maputo: 1941 Lusaka Accord Avenue, Maputo, Mozambique.

Price:

In Bostwana its 800 Pula, In Mozambique its 4400 Meticals. You can pay in South Africa Rands which is R100.

Immigration control

Your passport has to be stamped four times at the following border posts:

• Tlokweng border post (Bostwana)
• Kopfontein Border post (South Africa)
• Lebombo border post (South Africa)
• Muloza border post (Mozambique)

What you need

• Valid passport with a minimum validity of atleast six months and two blank pages.
• Valid ticket.
• Valid fever card.
