In Lilongwe, luxury coaches used to operate without a designated point, a situation that has led bus operators to use fuel service stations or shopping centre car parks as terminals across the city. In September 2024 the Lilongwe city council enforced that all local luxury coaches and cross border buses should operate only from Grand business Park.
At Grand business park all luxury and cross border buses have a designated office for ticket sales and passenger waiting area. Its just unfortunate that they isn’t a designated local public transportation system from town or city centre. The only way to get there is through your own private car or hire a taxi.
