New Sarnia Connectivity: Just one ticket from Sarnia to the world!

Residences and the business community representatives gathered at Sarnia Chris Hadfield Airport to celebrate the launch of a new connection with national and global destinations via the introduction of multi-modal ground-to-air service.

The City, in partnership with Tourism Sarnia-Lambton, was joined by Air Canada and The Landline Company to officially announce the service connecting the Sarnia Chris Hadfield Airport (YZR) to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) via a luxury motorcoach beginning June 15, 2026. ­

Passengers will be able to book travel exactly as they would any other connecting flight – simply by searching Sarnia (YZR) to their final destination on aircanada.com creating one seamless itinerary for their ground and air travel.

About the service:

  • Two round trips a day — early morning and early afternoon to align with major connecting flights at Pearson Int’l Airport
  • Check in, have bags tagged and obtain boarding passes for all travel segments at Chris Hadfield Airport
  • Air Canada branded motorcoach —2×1 leather seating, extended legroom, complimentary high-speed satellite Wi-Fi, tray tables and power outlets
  • Enjoy the same protections as customers travelling on air only activities

How to make a booking:

Bookings can be made immediately for travel June 15,2026 onward. Customers can book by selecting Sarnia (YZR) as their departure or arrival point when searching flights on aircanada.com or on the Air Canada mobile app.

Passengers with an existing Air Canada reservation from YYZ can add the motorcoach segment to their itinerary at no extra cost for a limited time by calling Air Canada Reservations. More information about the service can be found online at landline.com/canada.
